All-round carpenter – self-employed/ salaried

As a carpenter at GEAR Works, no workday is the same! You will work independently on various projects, such as building new homes or restoring and/or rebuilding boats. If you work with a regular partner, he/she is more than welcome to work with you. We are looking for several experienced workers who breathe the trade. Are we looking for you?

Your duties

– Installing ceilings and walls
– Installing frames and doors
– Gable paneling
– Making different formwork
– Perform maintenance or mutation work
– Drawing reading
– Plotting/sizing.

Job requirements

• You have several years of experience as a carpenter and can demonstrate this
• You possess a valid VCA diploma
• You are flexible and available full time
• You have your own transportation and are willing to travel within NL

Job requirements for freelancers

• You have and can demonstrate several years of experience as a self-employed carpenter
• You possess a valid VCA diploma
• You have your own transportation and tools
• You can provide the following documents:
• Extract from Chamber of Commerce (maximum 3 months old)
• Copy of your (business) liability insurance policy
